Hilary and David are planning a wedding & honeymoon this spring. Like most engaged couples they are happily making plans, but this couple is going to start their married life off a bit differently!   They will be backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail, from the Mexican border to Canada, with intention of doing the full 2,665 mile hike! Not only will they be embarking on an amazing adventure but they will be doing it in support of JDRF.

T1D has touched the life of someone very special to Hilary and she would like to help create a world without T1D by turning her hike into a Walk-a-Thon to raise funds for JDRF Research.

Hilary states, “When out there on the trail facing daily challenges, I will draw my strength from knowing that every mile walked will be helping my sister & every other person who has to manage Type 1 Diabetes be that much closer to freedom, relief & good health. “
