2014 JDRF Walk Kickoff Flyer

Join us for a great afternoon in the park as we kick off our 2014 Walk to Cure Diabetes! Enjoy the sounds of Carlsbad’s own Bad Habitz as they Rock N Roll in support of finding a cure for T1D. The Walk to Cure Diabetes is the largest diabetes Walk in San Diego and last year raised over $750,000 for T1D research. This event brings together those dealing with the impact of T1D, their families and friends. There will be speakers, T1D researchers, fundraising coaches, tacos, shaved ice and more. Join us and learn more about the November Walk to Cure Diabetes and how you can help Turn Type One into Type None. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and the whole family!

Our Kickoff event will start at 4:30 pm on Saturday September 13th at the Carmel Valley Rec Center at 3777 Townsgate Drive, San Diego 92130. This is a great opportunity to meet other adults, kids and parents who deal with this life threatening disease each day.

Please RSVP to Alexis Rodriguez at arodriguez@jdrf.org or by phone at 858-597-0240.
